Beef Share Freezer Space
Click SHOP in the upper right corner to go to the Farm Store. A 24 cu. ft. freezer can accommodate various portions of beef, with each share requiring 18–20 cu. ft. of space. A whole beef weighs approximately 800 lbs, while half weighs 400 lbs, and a quarter is 200 lbs. Smaller portions like 1/8 weigh approx. 100 lbs.. This helps determine how much freezer space is needed for different beef share sizes.
